Alfabetización digital y derechos de privacidad en la era de las TIC: análisis documental desde la perspectiva legal y ética del manejo de información

Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la relación entre la alfabetización digital y la protección de los derechos de privacidad en el uso de las TIC, desde un enfoque legal y ético. La pregunta de investigación se centró en comprender cómo la alfabetización digital contribuye al uso ético y legal de las TIC y previene la vulneración de derechos informacionales. Se empleó un enfoque cualitativo, de nivel exploratorio, con diseño documental y corte transversal. La revisión abarcó 21 estudios empíricos publicados entre 2021 y 2025, seleccionados mediante criterios rigurosos y analizados temáticamente. Los hallazgos indican que un mayor nivel de alfabetización digital crítica está vinculado con mejores prácticas de protección de datos personales en contextos como la educación, la salud, la gestión bibliotecaria y el comercio digital. Se identificó que la alfabetización digital permite ejercer derechos informacionales y enfrentar riesgos relacionados con vigilancia, manipulación y mal uso de datos. Se concluye que la alfabetización digital debe abordarse como una competencia ciudadana clave para promover el uso responsable de las TIC y salvaguardar la privacidad en la sociedad digital. El estudio amplía la comprensión del fenómeno y sugiere enfoques integradores entre educación, derecho y tecnología.
