This work is part of a research on the systematization of the 360 ° methodology for the evaluation of the performance of higher level teachers. In a previous stage the methodology was tested manually; as a second stage, the diagnosis presented here was made and it is intended to culminate with the proposal of an online evaluation computer system that allows immediate feedback to both the teachers evaluated for their professional development and the coordinators of the academic programs for the integration of training events aimed objectively at the detected needs. The results obtained are presented when investigating the current practices of teacher evaluation in four institutions of higher education in the state of Nayarit, Mexico. To make the diagnosis, technological tools of qualitative analysis were used to facilitate the handling of documents, through an encoding to import data from the survey.
