E-business model for Cuban agribusiness companies

E-business allows organizations to increase their competitiveness, facilitate their interaction with customers and business partners, improve their supply chain and minimize their costs in commercial transactions. The application of e-business in agribusiness companies is insufficient, mainly in underdeveloped countries where these organizations use traditional business models. The objective of this research is to develop a business model for Cuban agribusiness companies that allows them to promote the use of electronic business. Interview, participant observation, synthetic analytical method and modeling were used as scientific methods. The Osgood scale was applied to validate the proposed model. The business model developed in this research is aimed to strength the supply chain of Cuban agribusiness companies, to improve their customer service and to increase their competitiveness and market positioning.
