Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word format.º
  • The submission has not been previously published or submitted for consideration by any other journal.
  • The reference format is APA 7th. edition (2019) ordered according to their appearance within the text. Wherever possible, URLs are provided for references.
  • The text complies with the format of the journal. Following the publication template.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements summarized in the Author's Guidelines, that appears in About the journal.

Author Guidelines

The Editorial Board initially reviews all submitted documents to assess whether they comply with the journal's Publication Guidelines, conducting a similarity assessment using the iThenticate tool to prevent plagiarism. If they comply, the papers will be subject to double-blind peer review by two members of the journal's External Review Committee. Anonymity is guaranteed by submitting documents for review without author names and without references to their personal work.

RITI is published twice a year, in June and December, with no publication charge.

Within one week, you will receive an email notification indicating whether your work is suitable for review.

You will receive a response from the Editor regarding the outcome of your article's evaluation within a maximum of two months. If the reviewers recommend corrections or modifications to the article, the author(s) will have ten (10) days to make them and resubmit it.

Once notification of article acceptance is received, the Copyright Assignment Form must be duly completed and signed. All articles included in the journal are published under a Creative Commons license (CC BY-NC).

Submitted articles must be technical and unpublished (at least 30 or 40 percent) in computer science, applications of information technology in mathematics, engineering, business administration, education, social sciences, etc., complete and partial research results, as well as academic experiences and reflections. All contributions must be original and not simultaneously proposed for publication in another journal.

Articles must be submitted in Spanish, English, or French. The length of the papers must be between 5 and 15 pages, with good-quality images and tables.

If the article is written in Spanish or French, the title, abstract, and keywords must also be written in English.

The title must be a maximum of 15 words in any of the three languages ​​accepted by the journal.
